PPW: What's New! - Volume #1

Image
Hey there, everyone! It's me again! Wow, it's been a while since I posted on here, huh? Ooookay, coming clean here, I hit a huge writer's block recently! My motivation just left with no sign of returning. But I'm back, and better than ever now! And I'm finally ready to talk about Party Parrot, something I know I've kept you guys waiting for, for far too long! I figured it might be a good idea to catch you all up on some things! Namely with Party Parrot World. A lot - and I mean a LOT  - of things have been happening with the game over the past few months. Let's get straight to the good stuff! What's NEW in Party Parrot World?! Open Beta Testing! You might remember that I was invited to the closed beta testing for PPW. Well, it's now open to everyone! Players can sign up for their permanent Hideaway accounts on the  New Hideaway website , and create a parrot of their very own! Best of all, they've recently removed the requirement for age verific

My Club Penguin Experience

Alright, I know for sure this is something a lot of you have waited for. After all, my blog mostly centers around Club Penguin - with a dash of other virtual worlds here and there. I haven't really told my full Club Penguin story to anyone, because I've never deemed it necessary. I figured, though, that it would make a good blog post - and that's why I stretched out my Webkinz story into a full saga. If you haven't seen the other posts in this trilogy, check 'em out! You'll need the context from it. What's interesting is that prior to starting work on this post, is that I found Club Penguin related blog posts on my old blog - that of which I ran from the ages of 9 to 13, talking about random stuff that I liked. Those Club Penguin posts date back to August 2016, but it's possible I could've been playing for longer. My memory can get really faulty, and I often just have to connect the dots between key memories. I don't remember the date I signed

My Webkinz Story

Hey there Penguin and Parrot Pals! Today's post is going to be a bit different to normal, but I hope you all like it nonetheless. This blog, for the most part, has revolved around Club Penguin. My audience, for the most part, is comprised of Club Penguin lovers! That, or Party Parrot World lovers - but the audiences for those are pretty much merged. Today isn't about Club Penguin, or Party Parrot. Today is about Webkinz. This is my Webkinz story. So first, let me set the scene for you. It's 2013. This was a little bit before I was homeschooled, so I was still living my day-to-day school life. Now, for lack of better words, and to avoid getting into the sad details, that school life wasn't all that great. It was a horribly toxic environment all around, everything from the students to the staff themselves. I'll leave it at that. The weekends were the only time I remember feeling like myself . I'd spend all day on my computer on those days, because that was the o

The CPPS Situation: Why It's Bogus

I feel like everyone in the community right now is talking about this. Originally, all I wanted to do was quote-retweet the announcement post made by the Club Penguin Legacy team, simply saying "another one bites the dust" and leave it at that. But, it seems like the conversation is still continuing, and I happened to be cursed with the fact that I woke up at 5 in the morning with the inability to get back to sleep, so this will be how I'm spending my time instead: writing about the whole CPPS situation we have on our hands right now. The reason I'm so quiet about CPPSes is because it isn't something that appeals to me in the first place. I'm sure all of you know this - I'm a Club Penguin Island player, and I'm not as big of a fan of the original as I am with the successor. Sure, I respect it great amounts - and even if I didn't play it much while it was still around, I still think it was a great era of gaming history. However, history is somethi

Day 1 of Party Parrot World: The Closed Beta Experience!

Hello to all my Penguin Pals out there! Welcome back to another blog post pertaining to - you guessed it - Party Parrot World! You might've caught my last blog post, where I went over the teaser trailer put out by the Party Parrot crew. If you happen to have not seen it, don't you worry! You can check it out  HERE ! With how amazing that trailer was - the trailer itself made by Businessmoose and the music made by Screenhog - I knew I wanted in. Before I was even invited to write that post, the moment I saw the teaser, I raced over and I submitted an application to be a part of closed beta testing before you could even say "Wow, Bunny's excited for this!" Prologue to Day 1: The Invitation A couple weeks later, I was away doing something. I don't even remember what I was doing - I was probably taking a nap or something, because I'm a sleepy gal. But when I come back and check Twitter, suddenly I'm seeing people are getting accepted into Party Parrot Wo

Party Parrot World: Beta Teaser!

Image
Heya, Penguin Pals! Hope you all are doing super well today. We have a very special blog post in store this time! I was struggling to figure out what I wanted to write for my next post, but I woke up this morning to a Twitter DM from Tech70! They're one of the team members over at Party Parrot World - and they've invited me to share with my blog readers this teaser for the game's closed beta! You can imagine how excited I was - and how motivated I suddenly got to make this post. Let's take a look, shall we? Wow, that's a LOT to break down! And I've never done any sort of teaser breakdown of any sort - I normally just watch the teasers/trailers, get excited, and then proceed to annoy all my friends about it. A bit overwhelming, but I love a challenge, so I'll give it my best shot! Right away I recognized this as the Box Dimension - something that I'm quite familiar with as both an original Club Penguin and a Club Penguin Island player. In fact, my first
